Snoop Dogg, an NFL Mentor?

Snoop Dogg, a sports fan, has an organized youth football league. The Snoop Dogg Youth Football League has produced talent that has reached the NFL, starting with Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman drafted in the 3rd round of the 2012 NFL Draft. This year’s draft included another Snoop Dogg Youth Football League graduate, Kansas City Chiefs running back De’Anthony Thomas was selected in the 4th round of the 2014 NFL Draft with the 124th overall pick.

Undrafted cornerbacks Kam Jackson and Greg Ducre are also graduates of the Snoop Dogg Youth Football League who were signed after the draft. Snoop Dogg took the time to comment on his players and their future impact in the NFL (to TMZ):

“I feel good about the guys that are coming out this year, the year after … and the kids that are in the league right now.”

Kam Jackson was signed by the Indianapolis Colts and Greg Ducre was signed by the San Diego Chargers.
